It hurt for Francis to remember today, but still, it could not be avoided as the clocks could not change the day but at the same pace as always, nor had he any power to stop or meddle with the sun. Each year became more and more of a torture as this day came closer to the anniversary. He hadn't forgotten, even after all this time that he had spent. And he had thought that the first time around would have been worse with this experience. Now Francis knew that the pain only deepened with time and with more events of similar occurrence.

"Scary? Oh come on," you said. "Everything was foreseeable and the plot was weak."
